Hez a fallen angel,but only just..............hed just hung around with the wrong people before 'The Split'(between heaven and hell) n got tagged as a demon............................
hes been on the earth for waaaaaaaaaaaayyy-waaayyyy longer than any/most other demons,,,n has kinda drifted towards humanity.............to say,,he drives a car,uses the phone,likes fine dining,hates his job,loves sleeping(he slept through the entire 19th century,only waking up once in 1863 to use the lavatory),et cetera.............
also,he uses his diabolic powers to makes his existance on the planet, a little bit easier(like disabling a police car chasing him).........................
btw,he is a eternal being................
And,he has a pen that writes underwater,a reeeeeeeeeeeeeelllly cool watch,,and not to 4get,a 1926 bentley.....................
